FAQ

Before Class:

Q. What should my kids wear to class?

A. Please dress appropriately for our art classes. Although we wear aprons when creating, acrylic paint and other materials can be difficult or impossible to remove from clothing, so it's best to wear something that you don't mind getting messy.

Q. Do my kids need to bring anything?

A. Don't forget to bring a water bottle and wear clothes that you don't mind getting a little messy. Acrylic paint doesn’t come out of clothes, so it's best to come prepared.

Q. Anything else I need to do before class?

A. Please have a quick chat with your child before their art class to ensure they understand the importance of taking their time, being patient, and paying attention to detail. At our studio, we emphasize using different techniques and the art of adding small details in order to encourage creativity and enjoyment of the process.

It's also important to note that we strive to maintain a respectful and positive learning environment. Please make sure your child understands that disrespectful or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated. In the event of misconduct, we may need to contact you to pick up your child. Please understand that there will be no refunds or credits for missed time if a child is unable to continue with the class due to inappropriate behavior.

Thank you for your cooperation and support in creating a positive and creative learning environment for all of our students.

If you have any more questions please see our Policies and Procedures page for more information.

 Lateness/Absences:

Q. What if my child will miss a class?

A. We understand that sometimes life can be unpredictable and it may not be possible for your child to attend every single class. If your child needs to miss a class, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can plan accordingly. We do not offer make-up classes or credits for missed sessions, but we always encourage our students to try their best to attend all of their classes. If you have any further questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.

Q. What if I’m going to be late for a class?

A. Punctuality is really important for our classes. Arriving late can be disruptive for the whole group and might cause delays, which could result in unfinished projects or classes running over time. If you know you'll be running behind, please let us know as soon as possible. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us create a positive and productive learning environment for all of our students.
